As I've already written over @ A Yes Place, I have never gotten a blogger award before, so I was very honored yesterday when I was graciously awarded two awards for two of my blogs, on my Birthday!!
Thank you so much to Mindy @ My Own Sense and Sensibility for choosing to feature this space as a "stylish" one. I know the feeling of keeping an open heart as to whether these blogs of ours are being used by God to make an impact or not. I am constantly in prayer offering my blogs up to God... take them or help me make them, I pray.
These kind of blessings are further confirmation for me to keep going.
Thank you.
As part of the honor of accepting this award I have been asked to pay it forward:

The awesome blogger I would love to pay it forward to is the lovely "walking with the King", Courtney, at Women Living Well.
Courtney has been a lighthouse on the storm shore for me during the past six weeks. Teaching and ministering to the hearts of women intent on becoming Godly wives, mothers, teachers, homemakers, daughters, and sisters. I admire her dignity and class, Truth speaking even in controversy and conflict, her confidence in Him, and her humble honest teaching on consciously making choices to honor and serve our family and friends.
I have already shared seven things about me at A Yes Place, so I'm going to change it up a little and write seven (of the billion) things I'm in awe of God over:
1. I am amazed that He consistently loves us no matter what we do, who we are, what shape we are in. He keeps on, always. Faithful isn't enough of a word for God.
2. That with all the destruction and hurt going in the world, He is peaceful. There is so much peace about Him that getting nearer to Him only fills my life, heart, mind, fears, concerns, worries with PEACE and an understanding that everything is going to be okay, even if the worst possible scenario were to transpire.
3. That He knows every single thing. Not because He planned it, but because He is omniscient and He is held by nothing. It brings me so much peace and assurance that He knows exactly the moment when I will be set free from this or that... exactly how I will react and what He's going to do with the experience that follows... exactly how this will all play out, from a stone on the road, to my little life, to the plans for all of eternity.
(and THAT is the God who loves you and I in a way we can't even comprehend)
4. Even as the world's reality becomes more distant to me with time, I'm still in awe of the ways that God works through and around the boundaries we are conditioned to believe we have to live within. ie: time, space, day and night, culture, finances, stone hearts and satan's strongholds...
NOTHING CAN STOP GOD OR STAND IN HIS WAY. Amazing!
5. I am in awe of the way God uses my love for my son to get through to me, to train me up, and to motivate me all at the same time.
6. The way that He can pull me away from right now in an instant, with a simple tugging on my heart. And it's like my eyes open wide to His presence, and I feel so small and perfectly cared for, right in my place.
7. I am amazed at the way He communicates with us. The way He knows us so well that He can give us just the amount, in exactly the way we would need to really believe Him and take action. I used to wonder why He would bother telling me something when He knew it would happen anyway. And then I started compiling memories of times He spoke and His word was (is always) fulfilled, and I realized it's made me see Him in the tangible, feel His love and interest in me, and it's caused me to TRUST His unfailing Word always.
God is good.
I pray that He is glorified in everything I write.

Thank you so much - this was very sweet! And I LOVE the look of your blog!!
